Landmark Mitzels Restaurant In Poulsbo Burns Down

Mitzel's American Kitchen off Highway 305, Poulsbo, Washington, USA, burned down early in the morning of May 30th, 2006. Thanks be to God, no one was hurt in the fire. Proprietor and owner, George Comeau, and the staff of Mitzel's have long supported the work of Dwight and Pauline Droz; for over a decade they carried and sold the books published by Scandia Patch Press for Dwight and Pauline, as well as hosting a number of book signings and events. It is a sad time for the wonderful people once employed at Mitzel's, for the countless customers thoughout the area, and for Scandia Patch Press.
